Daring Bakers October Challenge: Tossing Your Own Pizza
I recently joined this awesome internet group of baking bloggers! How perfect!! Every month they have a challenge that everyone must complete and post on their blogs with pictures and descriptions. This was my first challenge and we had to make pizza crust following the same recipe that required tossing the dough in the air to shape it. That was not easy as you can see in the following pictures.

oh here i go and…

and there it falls, very elastic that dough…
starting from the beginning of this pizza making process:

we have the ingredient lineup: flour, salt, water, sugar, yeast, and extra virgin olive oil.

pizza #1.
roasted garlic cream sauce, comté cheese, herbes de provence along the crust

pizza #2.
tomato sauce with oregano and smoked garlic (my new favorite ingredient), topped with spanish chorizo, fresh pineapple and grated mozzarella cheese.
so there you have it folks, can kate really toss a pizza? maybe not so well, but there is always next time.
